IM Lock Email Reports
IM Lock users can have reports emailed to them automatically or manually.
There are 2 kinds of reports:
1) Blocking Reports
2) Web Use Reports (web titles, web urls)
With Email reports you can optionally attach one or both of the reports.
You can schedule an automatic report to be sent to your email address.
Reports will be attached as a .zip file. Instructions to open a zip file are on the email itself.
To Use IM Lock Email Reports:
1. Go To IM Lock Control Panel
2. Schedule and Reports Tab
3. Email Reports Tab
1. Add valid email address where reports are to be sent
2. Select which reports to attach (Blocking, Web Use, or both)
3. Select delivery time.
*Note: delivery time uses the 24 hour clock, to accomodate international users.
i.e. 06:00 is 6am and 18:00 is 6pm.
4. Report will be sent at the delivery time
*Note: The machine where IM Lock is installed must be running for the report to be sent.
The machine must have internet access also.
You can optionally send the report immediately by pressing the Send Now button.
IM Lock Enterprise:
Email Reports can only be automatically sent from Administrator. Remote client installs will not automatically send email. However, by pointing all client installs to a common directory, the Administrator can get all reports sent to the administrator email.
