Word Match and Pattern Match enable the user to fine tune their blocking scheme

Internet Explorer – In Internet Explorer, the user can use word match and pattern match for URLS as well as Window Titles

All Other Browsers – In Other Browsers (Firefix, Netscape, Safari, Opera, Yahoo!, AOL) users can block Window Titles.

Example:

Original Title:

MSN Web Messenger

Exact Word Match: “MSN” or “Web” or “Messenger” or “MSN Web Messenger”

Pattern Match: “MS”, “We”, or “sseng”

Exact Match takes into account the spaces between words to establish a whole word.

Pattern match will match any pattern, and thus provide much broader blocking.
