The internet has created a new opportunity, and a new problem for parents raising children in this age of technology.  We have all the great information at our fingertips that can create so many learning opportunities.  Children can become very advanced with technology very quickly.

But then there are the internet threats and dangers lurking only a few mouseclicks away.  There are millions of porn sites, internet predators, and there is cyberbullying. There is illegal music downloading, and there are sites full of viruses ready to take over your computer. As parents we cannot ignore these threats and hope for the best.And sometimes verbal warnings and education are simply not enough.  We would urge all parents to install parental controls to their kid’s computers as soon as possible.The dangers are out there, and they are real, and they are not hard to find.
